HISTORY
Cla-Val UK Ltd was originally formed in 1966 as Aztec Engineering Ltd and in 1996 became a wholly owned subsidiary of Cla-Val Co, Newport Beach, California USA. In 2003 the company was renamed Cla-Val UK Ltd.
Cla-Val Co was formed in 1947 and has distributors in over 65 countries. Manufacturing facilities are situated in California, Canada and Lausanne in Switzerland.
Cla-Val UK Ltd has thirteen employees in the UK with offices in Tunbridge Wells.
In 1995 Cla-Val UK Ltd was awarded the BS EN ISO 9002 quality management standard certification for the supply of fluid control equipment to all users of piped fluids. In 2002 the quality management system was upgraded to BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000. Certificate number A1349.
SYNOPSIS
Our prime objective has always been to produce and sell the finest automatic control valves utilising the best engineering skills, the most dependable materials and the latest production methods.
Our product range includes hydraulically actuated valves for pressure reduction, pressure relief/sustaining, rate of flow, level control, solenoid control, deluge valves and backflow preventers. Aviation/Ground fuelling products include water drain valves, hydrant fuelling valves, fuel discharge valves and underwing refuelling nozzles. PRV electronic controller/data loggers and purpose built valve control systems together with the Hawle range of pipeline fittings and the Vent-O-Mat range of air release and vacuum break valves can also be supplied.
We can supply expertise in pipeline optimisation with a solution based approach in the use of high performance "Anti-Shock" air valves, surge relief and check valves. Support services in the form of commissioning, maintenance and training can also be provided.
Cla-Val UK Ltd supplies valves to water supply, fire protection, aviation fuelling, irrigation and industrial users and has a turnover in excess of £2.0 million.
Customers include Wessex Water, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, British Petroleum all the major utilities and over 250 others.
