Ground Fuelling Products

Cla-Val has a tradition of creating innovative products that go on to become the industry standard. Following an approach from the Air Force during World War II, Cla-Val designed and built the valves and controls that allowed fuel water separators to automatically eliminate water from aviation fuel thus safeguarding the lives of many pilots. During the Vietnam conflict the Air Force again asked Cla-Val to help design the first pressurised ground fuelling system which was later developed into the first pressurised hydrant refuelling system for commercial aviation which again has become the industry standard.
