MaxiFlo Check Valve

Designed for Potable water systems, Maxiflo Non-Slam High Performance Check Valves are specifically designed around four principals, namely Initial Cost, Non Slam, Maintenance Free, and Low Head-loss.

The Valve is of a linear closure design with careful attention given to the body configuration and the disc profile. Maxiflo utilises the Venturi phenomenon as the basis of the design to economically combine the features of a Non Slam and low head loss device at a reasonable initial cost.

70% of a pumping systems operating cost is in power consumption. Maxiflo is designed to open fully at very low flow rates and to minimise pressure drop across the valve during normal operation.

Because of its venturi design and linear closing characteristic, Maxiflo responds instantaneously to rapid decreases in flow as a result of pump trip, thereby considerably reducing water hammer.
